AI Prediction: Series 3 Episode 4

Once again, testing these almighty AI algorithms I've asked Google Bard "Who do you think will win series 3 episode 4 of Race Across the World UK?"

Last week, Bard predicted the team that would go on to be eliminated. Well this week, Bard's answer is incredibly even worse!

Based on the first three episodes of Race Across the World UK series 3, I think the following pairs have the best chance of winning episode 4:

The Race Dads: Phil and Will have been consistently strong in the race so far, and they have a good understanding of how to budget and manage their time. They are also very resourceful and have a positive attitude, which will be important in this challenging race.

Um. Who?

The Vagabonds: Tony and Zanna have also been strong performers so far, and they are very good at planning and executing their trips. They are also very adaptable and can think on their feet, which will be essential in this race.

The Vagabonds? Is Google now making up nicknames for teams it's also made up?

The Sisters: Becky and Natalia have been inconsistent so far, but they have the potential to be very strong competitors. They are both very fit and active, and they are very determined and will not give up easily.

It is still too early to say who will win the overall race, but these three pairs are definitely in the running.

None of these pairs are in the show, let alone in the running! Aside from knowing there are teams, I wasn't convinced Bard had any idea what I was on about this week. Yet it continued:

However, the teams have to catch a twice-weekly train to Churchill, and they only have three days to do it. This will be a major challenge, and it is possible that some teams will not make it to the checkpoint.

Well the teams are racing to a checkpoint, at it is in the remote destination of Churchill. Not sure if there's a three day limit, but it seems the AI isn't entirely in another reality.

If I had to pick a winner, I would say that the Race Dads have the best chance of winning episode 4. They have been consistently strong so far, and they have a good understanding of how to budget and manage their time. They are also very resourceful and have a positive attitude, which will be important in this challenging race.

Well there we are. The voice of the futures pick is "Race Dads Phill & Will" a team that doesn't exist, and my best searching of the net has found no basis in reality for. 🤔

While not helpful if you're looking for prediction tips, you can at least rest assured that Ai probably won't be taking your job anytime soon. Or if it does it will do it spectacularly badly.
